At the Laurel Lamp Foundation, our mission is to safeguard and celebrate the enduring legacy of the historic Laurel Lamp Company. Founded by the descendants of Laurel's visionary co-founders, Max and Harold Weiss, we are dedicated to preserving the remarkable heritage of Laurel's prolific and forward-thinking lighting designs and the designers behind them.
Our non-profit foundation has painstakingly curated a comprehensive archive, capturing every facet of Laurel's nearly 35 years of producing exquisite lamps and home furnishings. With unwavering commitment, our curator and team meticulously maintain a reliable and complete collection of Laurel resources, ensuring they remain accessible to collectors, scholars, enthusiasts, and anyone enthralled by the captivating history of the Laurel Lamp Company.
As a registered not-for-profit organization, we are driven by a deep passion for illuminating the past and enlightening future generations about the brilliance of Laurel's innovative creations.
